We are uniquely situated to do research dealing with bilingual/bicultural issues and to focus on cross-cultural research. This provides an excellent research context in areas vital to the larger educational community – diverse perspectives, language learning, bilingualism, many different models of practice and curriculum for second language learning, international curricular issues, and immigrant education.
