Welcome to the Alternative Teacher Certification Program

We are dedicated to providing a quality teacher education program. The Program offers 24 certification areas. ATCP is a steppingstone to a master’s degree with up to 15 hours transferable to a masters degree depending on the field. ATCP is nationally recognized, accredited program of study with twenty years of experience. Texas certification is reciprocally recognized by 41 states.

Attention: While we have an open application process, new applicants interested in applying for the Alternative Teacher Certification Program for Spring 2012 must turn in their COMPLETE applications no later than January 6th. Applications received after January 6th will be processed for the Spring, 2012 semester.
